I hold a PhD in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and much of my academic work examines the psychology of language learning, classroom experience, learner identity, and teacher education. My questions, however, have never stopped at the boundary of one discipline.

As a co-founder of BayaneBartar English Institute, I have spent years testing research ideas at the real scale of education, organizations, and culture. This movement between theory and practice has become the core of what I write about today.

My book Man Manam and WEME theory grew from the same concern: why are some people and ideas merely visible, while others create a narrative in which people find a role and become a ‘we’?
